Suck Em Up puts an allover print of Hawaiian pidgin phrases on HIC's 8-way Octo-Stretch fabric. You get a 19-inch outseam, a lace-up front with four HIC grommets and a water-repellent coating.

The print

HIC's Hawaiian Jargon print covers the whole pair in Hawaiian pidgin, the everyday slang of the islands, with "Shaka Brah" among the phrases. Even the style's name is pidgin.
The stretch

Most board shorts stretch four ways: side to side and up and down. HIC's 8-way Octo Stretch adds the diagonals, so the fabric gives when you pop up, paddle or dive for a ball instead of pulling at the seams.

Which size should I order?
Measure your waist where the shorts will sit, just below the belly button. Email jz@mauishirts.com with that number and we'll measure a pair from our shelf and tell you which size fits.
How long are they?
19-inch outseam, measured from the top of the waistband to the hem. That's an inch shorter than our 20-inch Ua Huka and two inches shorter than the 21-inch Kanaha.
What does the print say?
It's HIC's Hawaiian Jargon print: Hawaiian pidgin phrases all over the shorts, "Shaka Brah" among them.
Do you carry big sizes?
Yes. Besides waist 29 to 44, Suck Em Up comes in big sizes 46 to 54. The sizes in stock today are listed in the fit section above.
When will my order arrive?
Weekday orders placed by 1 PM HST ship the same day from Wailuku. Free Standard shipping (USPS) takes 5–7 business days after your order ships. USPS Priority (3–5 business days) and FedEx 2Day are available at checkout.
What if they don't fit?
Exchange them within 30 days of delivery with no restocking fee. They need to be unworn and unwashed with the tags on. If you'd rather have a refund, there's a 15% restocking fee. Email jz@mauishirts.com first and we'll walk you through it. Read the full policy.
