Returns & Exchanges
Wrong size? Exchange it with no restocking fee.
You have 30 days from delivery to exchange or return anything that is unworn, unwashed and still has its tags. Exchanges carry no restocking fee. Refunds have a 15% restocking fee.
The short version
- Time limit
- 30 days from the day your order is delivered.
- Condition
- Unworn, unwashed, with all tags and original packaging. Shorts that have been in the water can't be returned.
- Exchanges
- No restocking fee. Shipping for the exchange works as described below.
- Refunds
- A 15% restocking fee applies, so we refund 85% of the item price to your original payment method within 3 to 5 business days of receiving the return.
- Return postage
- You pay return shipping. Shipping and handling charges are not refunded.
- Final sale
- Items marked final sale can't be returned or exchanged.
- Wrong or defective item
- Email us and we'll make it right.
Two ways to exchange
Order the new size now
Place a new order for the size or style you want. It ships the same day if you order by 1 PM HST on a weekday. Then send the original back and we refund it with no restocking fee.
- Because this is an exchange, the cost of free shipping on the new order ($9.99) and any discount code you used are deducted from your refund.
- Use this option for international exchanges.
Mail it back for a swap
Send the item back with a note that lists your phone number, shipping address and the size, color or item you want instead. We ship the new item once your return arrives.
- Exchange shipping is $12.00 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item, paid by personal check or money order made out to MauiShirts.com, Inc.
- The new item must be of equal or greater value. You pay any price difference.
If the size you want is gone, we'll offer a substitute. If we don't hear back, we'll issue a partial refund.
How to send a return

Email us first
Send your order number and what you'd like to do to jz@mauishirts.com.

Pack it
Fold the shorts flat with tags attached. Write your order number on the outside of the package.

Mail it
Ship by USPS with tracking to Performance Shorts, MauiShirts.com, Inc., 250 Imi Kala St #950, Wailuku, HI 96793.
We're not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in the mail, so use a tracked service.
Gifts
Gifts can be exchanged but not refunded. Email us with proof of purchase to start a gift exchange.
